At the Blackstone Parks this week there is a concert, a family event and a guided walk:
– On Thursday, August 12th, at 6pm, Wendy Klein and the musical group Alebreke perform Latin Jazz at the Blackstone Boulevard Trolley Shelter. Part of our annual concert series.
– Melissa Guillet of 15 Minute Field Trips leads our next event of our monthly “Art & Science in the Park” series this Saturday, August 14th, at 10 AM: Bug Hunt.
– Expert naturalist and ornithologist Dan Berard guides a walk to explore the park in search of nesting birds and migrants and discover how the park benefits local and visiting species on Saturday, August 15th at 7 AM . Meet at the Blackstone Park kiosk by Parkside Road.
