Let’s Show the Boulevard Some Love During Earth Month

Fierce winter weather has left a lot of branches on the ground.  Together we can show the Boulevard Park some love, while enjoying spring blossoms during Earth Month.

It’s easy! Starting on the afternoon of Wednesday April 16 and for the rest of the month, just pick up a few sticks (at least 1/2” around or 1’ long) and put them near a site marked with a green ribbon. Small twigs can stay where they are — they will break down and nourish the soil. The Parks Department will collect the stick piles for composting.

Please put sticks only at the marked sites shown in the attached map.

Thank you for joining the citywide Earth Month Celebration!
