You can help with a summer spruce-up of the Boulevard Park that also keeps the mowing crews safe. Simply pick up large sticks, more than 1” around or 1’ long, and put them near a tree marked with a green ribbon. Small twigs can stay where they are — they will break down and nourish the soil. The Parks Department will collect the large sticks for composting. Please put sticks only at one of the marked trees, located near Lorimer Avenue, Butler Drive (just north of Rochambeau), and Laurel Avenue. Thank you for caring about our parks!
