It takes a village to raise a sign (or eight signs)! In this case the village was made of many Conservancy people, our partners in the Parks Dept, and a contractor team. Here are three of the interpretive signs that went up as part of the big DEM- funded Improvements project in the Center Section. If you walk the trails you will see a total of six interpretive signs, and two large updated maps with information. Special thanks to all the people who contributed photos, text, and design work, particularly Lindsey Langenburg, Megan Gardner, Shonna Dowers, Melissa Guillet, April Alix, Rick RIchards, Margaret Brookner, Martha Fraenkel, Carrie Drake, Phil West…and to a talented neighbor for sign kiosk upgrades!
