Thanks to all the people who came to Blackstone Park for Earth Day! The “plawkers” collected a lot of trash from the riverbank and nearby woods – thanks to our co-host, Councilwoman Helen Anthony, for suggesting this and for pitching in on the plawking. We appreciate the Croft School families and teachers, who converted a mountain of wood-chips into a new “floor” for the Children’s Circle. We also want to thank our partners in the Parks Dept and the Partnership for Providence Parks for their city-wide efforts on Earth Day!
